Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms apply whenever RSD Logistics & Courier Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and/or delivers an item for you. For regular business clients, a separate written service agreement and fee schedule takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ; for one-off personal or business bookings made by phone, message, or our website quote form, these terms apply on their own.
1. Booking and quotes
A quote is an estimate based on the information you give us — distance, size, urgency, and any special handling needed. The confirmed price is agreed before we collect. If the details on collection differ materially from what was described (size, weight, or nature of the item), we may revise the price and will confirm any change with you before continuing.
2. Collection and delivery
You (or someone authorised by you) must be available at the agreed collection and delivery points at the agreed time. If no one is available to hand over or receive the item, we'll try to contact you; a second collection or delivery attempt may carry an additional charge. Estimated delivery times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed — traffic, weather, and other conditions outside our control can affect timing.
3. Items we carry
We carry most everyday goods, documents, and food items, in a standard saloon car. We do not carry illegal goods, dangerous or hazardous materials, live animals, or anything requiring specialist refrigerated or hazardous-goods transport. Let us know in advance if an item is fragile, valuable, or needs particular care, so we can confirm it's suitable and arrange the right handling.
4. Payment
One-off personal and business bookings are settled at the time of booking or on collection, as agreed when you book. Regular business accounts are invoiced monthly and itemised day by day, under the terms of the relevant service agreement. Payment is due within the period stated on the invoice; we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue business invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Cancellations
You can cancel a booking free of charge before collection has started. If a driver has already been dispatched or has arrived at the collection point, a cancellation charge may apply to cover the wasted journey.
6. Liability and insurance
We hold public liability insurance and hire-and-reward vehicle insurance for goods and food in transit. We take reasonable care with every item, but our liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the item or £100, whichever is lower, unless a higher value has been agreed and declared in advance. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (traffic, weather, vehicle breakdown, or actions of third parties).
7. Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact us as soon as possible at info@rsdlogisticscourier.co.uk or 07477 010150 so we can put it right.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
